Review: Living Green and the spell: the day the plants stood still, but they are still alive by Florian Bushy

My Review: 

This book is creative, cute, and enjoyable. I gave it 4.5 because I think it could go a little deeper or have some sort of lesson involved, especially since the plants determine humans in the future won't hate plants, even though the images they're shown are of humans destroying or mucking up the environment. It has a lot of potential, I just wish there was more of a lesson involved, espeically since it's a kids book.

Summary: 

In the beginning of time on planet Earth, trees, flowers, bushes and all other plants could walk, talk and live a happy life. One day, a visitor came to Earth with the intention of dominating the plants. Since then, the plants can no longer move. However, they are still alive!
What would have happened that day?

This book is part of the "Living Green" series, picture books for children that promote environmental awareness, respect and friendship.
