I’ve been waiting for his day for a LONG time! Sameness will be released as both an ebook and paperback on 10/14/17! The countdown has begun - are you in or out?
Available for preorder now.
41 chapters. That's what Sameness will have.
Took me a week to finish the fricking outline. But I really love this story and where it's going. I really, really hope that this story wins something in the Wattys.
As you may have noticed, if you're reading it, this book is different than the rest in its structure. This character even feels different to me, and that's good. It's the kind of character I need to write about. And I know there are questions just building, and you get hints here and there about their answers.
I hope you like the journey this story takes you on, because the messages are weaved within it. This is one of those books where I hope you take the lesson to heart, and you remember it because it moves you.
Also, I want to do something cool. I want everyone who has ever felt excluded and negatively different to send in something sharing their story, and I want that story to help you, and someone else, to overcome those feelings, whether it's artwork or poems or songs or stories. Show me your individuality and don't be afraid of it. Because different is beautiful if only you let it be beautiful.
There is no deadline.
There are no rules (except keep it G - PG-13)
I will feature each and every one of them in this book.
Hopefully you will all participate. I look forward to seeing your entries.
In other news, I'm working on getting The Unnamed and The Elite into Amazon and whatnot, so keep your eyes peeled!
Since I have both Tamir and Untouched Water as premium on Radish, I can't post them on Wattpad for free.
But thats okay.
So! Here are the books for FREE!
The One-Hundred Bundle (books 1, 2, 3)
These codes all expire 06/30/17
get them on Smashwords.com
Damian's Deeds is available as a paperback on Amazon. Go check it out!
Just finished editing Labyrinth! It's available as edited on Smashwords only for maybe the next couple of hours before it is distributed to other retailers. The book IS free, so go check it out. It's short (11,000 words long, approximately) but I really love it 😊
thanks for your continued support, and keep reading! (And swimming 😉)
i just finished editing The Vampire's Carnival as an ebook and it will be up in paperback form soon with a new cover! I'll keep you updated!
Also, Damian's Deeds is coming out soon, and I'm trying to get he paperback to upload prematurely so y'all can get the paperback BEFORE it's supposed to go on sale, but the site's being buggy.
Alright! That's it for today. Thanks for your support and encouragement :D and make sure you check out TVC - it's worth it!
i made a new cover for Damian's Deeds, and I'm finally happy with it. Check it out! What do you think? (Be nice please 😬)
everyone is probably wondering (if they've visited my Lulu page recently) why I have unedited versions of some of my books, like The Blood Room and Building Monsters. They're mainly for me, but I know there are people out there like me that like to see the "before" because of curiosity. If you're one of those people, go check them out and see all my mistakes BEFORE I try to fix them (even if they sometimes accidentally don't get fixed *~*).
I want to thank everyone for their support and to not forget to leave reviews about my books wherever you got them from. I love all the ones on iBooks for Dollhouse - they're so sweet and inspired. I'm thinking of making another one like it. Not a sequel, but the same tone.
Also, I am thinking about making a sequel to Building Monsters. Still don't know what I want to call it, but I definitely have some ideas for it.
I also still want to do a prequel/fourth book (switching between the past and the present like Tamir and Damian's Deeds does) for Hiding Behind A Mask. And I do have a name for that one.
I also want to do one for The Vampire's Carnival, diving into Adam's life pre- and post-Vanessa.
in other news, Damian's Deeds comes out 5/31! Excited! Hopefully I can finish editing by then. And then you'll be hearing crickets from me as I redo EVERYTHING. Also, I can't take my stuff off of Wattpad because I've entered contests with almost all of my books -_-. I really need to think ahead more.
But once all all the competitions are up, I'll be taking stuff down. I'm still on Catrina Billowson because, man, does it need a lot of work. That's what I get for starting at the beginning, I guess.
But ill I'll be updating here when I complete them. So watch out for me, and watch out for your favorite books, because they might be changing (If you get the ebooks, they'll update automatically, just an FYI).
I want to thank everyone for their support. I really need it now because I'm in a very dark time in my life and I can't make it through this alone. Seeing y'all comment on my books and leave nice reviews makes my day and really helps me push on. So thank you all 😊.
um... so I think I finished Damian's Deeds.
I didnt go as deep as as I wanted to in his past, but I guess I'll do that in the second part. Yes. I said SECOND PART.
DD will be a lot like the setup of The One-Hundred, where there were two separate parts that made one book. So don't worry. There will be more of Damian. But this specific little part will be a twist of what you're used to seeing. Remember the intro for DD? No? Read it before I went through and added a whole new plot line?
Shame on you.
But really. It's going to be different. New. And, surprisingly, it won't be mandatory to read, just like Untouched Water and Tamir. They're prequels and "what if"'s, unlike The One, which I will begin writing soon. I'm so ready for a new adventure with these characters.
Also, I realized something. I'm at a crossroads with Sameness and I want to bounce some ideas around and off my husband so that I can do what I think will be best for the story, but I realized why I work on more than one at a time. They inspire me with the other stories.
Oh, and another thing, Sameness will be linked to one or more of my stories. Can you guess which ones?
also forgot to mention that Dametria, the short story attached to the end of Tamir, is available by itself on Smashwords for .99¢. Yay!
Go check it out! The paperback should be out as well, so don't forget to pick one of those up on Amazon, Createspace, or Lulu!
And I want to give a big thanks to those who supported me through the creation of this book. It took a long time to finally finish it. Y'all are awesome!
My decision if finally final: I'm going to be redoing all of my books. Some, I might EXTREMELY change, while others, I'll just change grammar and spelling and typos.
I'm starting with The Haunted Mansion and going all the way up to the Elite, which publishes tomorrow, and beyond. I've already made it through The Haunted Mansion, and I'm working on Catrina Billowson. I've never had so much fun editing a book.
A little background of Catrina Billowson: I wrote it when I was a freshman in high school, maybe before then. It was inspired by Twilight, yes, but I also kind of make fun of Twilight in a way. And I think mine is better, but that's just me getting a big head about my books compared to my old fandom. It soooo strays away from the Twilight theme early in the book though, so stick with me. And I'm finding her reactions to everything HILARIOUS. I have no idea why. But Catrina is now one of my favorite characters that I've ever written about. You might not be laughing as hard as I am redoing it, but, my goodness, it's funny in the least bit. And there are awkward parts. And, of course, a romance or two. But anyway, It's funny to me.
I'll make a date for when it's re-released officially, but you can get it from Smashwords now for free and watch as I change a little day by day. I've been working on it slowly, taking my time so I don't miss anything (which I probably have, knowing me.)
I'm excited to go back through my books again. The only ones I worked on while not working on others were Trapped, Wiped, THM series, The Vampire's Carnival, and Catrina Billowson. Not to mention the two scripts and Labyrinth, but those where when I was either younger or doing it for school. SO all my other ones were written while I was writing other books, which means my attention was pulled away from them. And that sucks, because I didn't let the books live in my heart for long enough. So I love this.
I'll still be updating Sameness, which I didn't do this week because of everything I've been doing, and possibly Suicide Society. So go check those out on Radish and/or Wattpad, and I hope to see y'all beyond the pages of my books!
Just keep swimming,
