I always wanted to write a zombie book, so I did! Only this includes a post-apocalyptic world where mythical creatures took control. I loved writing this book, and the best description I've heard for this book is it's Warm Bodies meets Mad Max. Read the excerpt below!

I never asked to be a Bleeder. We’re a byproduct of the chaos that followed the zombie apocalypse, born when the mythological creatures—vampires, werewolves, and every other nightmare you can imagine—rose up to take over what was left of the world. From the start, we sided with humanity, fighting against the monsters who wanted to rule.

Big mistake. Now, the mythological creatures hate us more than anyone. Werewolves can sniff the life in our veins, vampires can taste every secret we’re trying to hide, and they’ll do anything to see us wiped out. The government, now controlled by these creatures, demands that any Bleeder be reported. Once we’re taken, we vanish without a trace—never to return.

Meanwhile, humans are barely surviving, hunted and slaughtered like animals in a world where monsters make all the rules. Society? A joke. And me? I’m stuck hiding in the shadows with a mismatched group of humans and outcasts I once saw as fodder.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the girl who turned me into this mess—the one I should hate—is the only person I can trust. And fate? It’s sitting back with popcorn, watching me run for my life.
