What’s this edition?

A fully re-edited release to sharpen the voice, tighten pacing, and make the world even gritter. Same heart, sharper teeth, smoother storytelling.

I never asked for fate to change me into a Bleeder, but here I am. And in a world where Bleeders are hunted down for who-knows-what, I’m less safe than I was as a fragile zombie.

The girl who turned me has been a Bleeder all her life, and she’s managed to evade the government this long—but I honestly thing it’s cost her everything. I keep saying I hate her, but with a surge of emotions I’ve never experienced before, I honestly couldn’t tell you what I think of her, or anything before.

After all, I was what society made me.

​Now, existing outside of it, and learning more about these human-sympathizers…

I don’t think anything will stop changing, ever again.
