It’s spooky month! Yay!
For absolutely no reason at all, I want to share my books with you over the next few days. Maybe you’ll find something you enjoy! The first book I’d like to tell y’all about, in the spooky season spirit, is “The Blood Room”
It has three endings, all available to read here on Wattpad, and is a Christian Horror. My dad had told me that those two words don’t go together, but look at a ton of stories in the Bible. Anyway, this story was sparked when I was reading at the local mall. It’s about a girl named Kyla who gets swept up as a test subject under vampires that want to remove their restraints. They can’t feed on everyone. They can’t bite the Christians.
Summary: Comfortable. Privileged. Happy.
Three things I no longer understand; three things I can no longer fathom. Chaos and mayhem overwhelm this room as we are used as guinea pigs for a mass experiment. An experiment that involves mass murder. We've been locked in this room for, some of us, two years. For me, it's hardly been a week, and yet I can already feel time itself dragging my body down into the dirt.
Comfortabe. Privileged. Happy.
Three things I have when they aren't in here, when they aren't terrifying us, depriving us of sleep. Three things that are only momentarily a gift from God, until the horrors of this room returns.
Comfortable. Privileged. Happy.
