Day 8 of booktober! Stop is the chosen one, today.
So I was watching Pewdiepie play a game a long time ago and it sparked this idea. What idea? Two girls with opposite superpowers. One moves and time stops, and the other moves and time freezes. One of them is in a nuthouse and the other is in an orphanage. One of them gets mixed up in a family dispute in another world and the other is running from galactic robots that have been sent to find her. What do these two have in common? Certainly not the love interests they end up going on these journeys with: a kitsune and a cyborg. This book blurs the lines between scifi and fantasy. It's heavy with both genres, so if you like either, you'll enjoy this story. Go check it out :) I absolutely love it. I'm working on the second book, but I put a hold on it because it started getting bland and I don't want it to be forced. I am working on things that will tie in with this world, so hopefully that will inspire me. I'm ready to start it up again soon <3
SUMMARY: One girl lives in an asylum. The other, an orphanage. They are identical, yet have never met. One boy made of metal, the other of myth, the girls have their hands full, even without Jayha's threat. And what is to happen, the moment they meet? Opposing powers colliding, one making time stop-- the other making it complete. Be betwixt to bequeath; 'twas a trick, not a treat. The hands will not stop nor shall they sway-- no mere halfie shall stand in their way. Wanted for a crime they don't recall committing, the two girls fight for their lives through space and time, trying to figure out who this "Jayha" person is, and why he wants them dead.
